I have now reported 4 threads, each more than once. Each is full of Spam, in breach of the T&C's and providing scummy shamsters with a forum to flog their wares. Back before the good mods got fed up and walked this would have been sorted in half a day at the most, frequently the likes of RC would ping me back within the hour. What's gone wrong?
I assume you mean the UK and Ireland General Discussions section? As I said before (I think), reports for that section will most likely only show up for moderators using the UK forum and who moderate that section, and as Justin is the only moderator of that section who regularly uses the forum and he only browses the US site he never sees them.
I believe that section is marked for termination anyway.

Yes, I realize the spam problem. I am trying to keep up. I am also trying to get some systems in place to automatically take care of some of it. Rest assured, your reports are always read and addressed. Its just that it might take some time with the overflow. Nevertheless, they are very much appreciated in helping clean up the forum

A while? The same account has a number of threads going and spams replies to other spam posts. This has been going on for weeks. I did tell you this would happen...
Which account is this? I can get rid of the threads that are in my sections but I can only moderate in the US forum, and don't even see reports from anywhere in the UK forum. I don't know why, but it's been like that for ages (well before I was a mod). I'll just put it down to another one of those UK forum quirks.
lagoos20 - Numerous unlock site links
Anonymous - Selling LOTS of phones and electricals
Look at it this way I reported the Anonymous posts on 10th Jan, can you understand why I'm now telling people not to bother reporting? I'm thinking of posting something truly ban worthy down there and having a sweepstake in what's left of the other to see if anybody ever notices.
