OS wont fully load!

Brand new build the windows 7 pro os starts loading and stops about 3 quarters of the way through and does nothing....solutions?

specs:

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD3

CPU: i5 2500k

Mem: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1333 DDR3

Sony Optiarc 24X DVD Burner

HDD:SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

Have you looked through BIOS and checked system set up?

Check RAM timing and voltage as a first option

ram timing could effect the loading? would the timing being off not allow it to start loading at all?

RAM timing and voltage will affect system stability .

Clearly something is wrong with hardware so thats the first thing to check

My next two diagnostic guessed would be a damaged hard drive , or even a faulty windows disk

What should the timings be? and its not actually loading the os is goes to the black page after the post and says loading operating system.........and stops i feel like its not reading the disk...

I have no idea what RAM you have without a link

After you have established that google something like " RAM timings" and read a general explanation of what they do
