A8-3870K AMD Processors

Hello Everybody at Tom's

Have you remember the release of new Llano processors? The best processor you can see is the A8-3870K, which has unlocked multipliers. Now this news is up since 20 December ago, can be seen here: http://www.amd.com/us/aboutamd/newsroom/Pages/newsroom.aspx

But the the thing is that this, I can't see reviews yet in Tom's. Do you guys know what's actually Up here?

Just wondering...

EDIT: Also up in stores!

Well there really isn't a comparative, but the basic premise will be that the A8-3870K has a faster onboard GPU while the i3-2120 has a faster CPU. Although the A8-3870K will likely win in a few highly multi-threaded programs overall the i3-2120 is going to be a faster processor. You could see this by using anandtech's bench and comparing the i3-2100 to the a8-3850 -> http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/399?vs=289

Remember though that only shows CPU performance and Game performance with a discrete Videocard. Onboard performance can be viewed in benchmarks of the A8-3850 and i3-2120/2100.

On another note the A8-3870K is an unlocked APU that has an unlocked multiplier for both the GPU and CPU whereas the i3 is not unlocked so the A8-3870K is easier to overclock in this regard.
