Front panel usb 3.0 to onboard 2.0

Hi, I made a mistake in purchasing motherboards and found out that my mobo only has onboard 2.0 but my case front panel has 3.0, would i still be able to connect them, or will I have to live without front panel USB ports?

you can get a usb 3.0 to 2.0 header adapter for mobo's that only support 2.0

If yout case has the usb3 cables that are supposed to go out thru the rear and plug into the rear usb3 then simply plug it into a usb2 port and it will work as usb2.
