Okay, so i am looking at building a New PC for gaming.

My parts list so far is:
Motherboard-Asus P8z68 v intel z68
CPU- Intel i5 2400
Graphics Card-Asus ENGTX 560 ti DCII Top
Hard Drive-Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Memory-Kingston 4GB 1333Mhz DDR3

The case is yet to be decided but so far my first choice is the Cooler Master Elite 430. This comes with an optional 500w power supply, and i am considering getting that to save money, but i need some advice on the Power supply as to how much watts i need for the equipment that i am getting.

Thanks

Don't get any 500 W PSU cooler master is shipping with your case, its probably an eXtreme Power Plus 500W which is an old, outdated, inefficient, and overrated 400 W unit.

Looking at your build a good 500-600W unit would do just fine. Proximon is working on a list of recommended PSUs, anyone of the 4 from his 500-550 W unit section would power your system just fine.

500W will be enough for you right now, but if you're looking for SLI down the road, I'd bump it up to 650W at least, maybe 700W just for extra headroom.

So my decision right now is to go with the coolermaster centurion 5 II because i have heard good things about it, and the corsair cx500 v2 because it was on the recommended list.

Thanks
