Budget is 1450 CANNOT GO OVER IT IF IT DOES THEN DONT LET IT GET OVER 1465

AMD or Intel.... in my mind intel is easier to build with

Case i prefer: Cooler Master HAF X

CPU cooler i prefer: Coolermaster Hyper (evo) 212 (PLUS)

SSD NEEDED: NOPE

Motherboard brand i do prefer: gigabyte

GPU brand i prefer: Does not matter all i want is a good looking board

CPU brand i prefer: Does not matter i can survive with both

Monitor needed: Not really i can build one with out one and use it on my 1024x 720 (i think it is) monitor

what i have gotten so far:

Get this i5-2500k + Gigabyte z68 bundle.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductCombos.aspx?Item=N...

Get this PSU combo with 8gb ram

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?Ite...

Get a better monitor, cut the costs on other pheripherals and get a 20" above 1920 x 1080p monitor since a 6770 would be able to handle anything at 1024 x 720.

Monitor

Anyway, your links are wrong. Your CPU is Corsair 850w and your mobo is HAF X.

Get this HDD save $10.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Get a 6950 or 6970

6950 $200 bucks
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

6970 $300 bucks
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Make sure you buy a monitor then pick whatever GPU u can squeeze in.

You don't need a 1k w psu for a GTX 580. Also, is mushkin even good.

I doubt he'd be going to the SLI route though. He also needs a monitor since his is 15' 1024 x 768.
