I recently built a computer and I am having difficulties connecting to the internet. The Internet router is ON and working since I have at 6 computers connected to it. Please find a list of what I have put into it so far below:

Intel Core I7 3770
MSI Z77A-G43
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Radeon HD 7850
1TB SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3
Asus disk drive
Corsair TX650 v2
Cooler master Hyper 212 Plus
Apevia X-Trooper
Running: Windows 7 64bit

I have a new fan on order since the 212 is too tall. I have downloaded all of the latest drivers (on another computer and then transformed them over).

My problem arises when I attempt to connect to the router. When I connect it via cable, it works fine but I will be using it in another room. Do I need an wireless antenna? Or is there some other problem I am overlooking.

Thanks for your help.

You have a few options.

There are hundreds to choose from. You didn't specify what WiFi router you use, but the above adapters should work. Buy an adapter that supports up to 300 Mbps if your router does.
