$400 budget gaming pc suggestion

My budget is $400 and I live in USA.. and I was wondering if this rig is good for gaming? I chose AMD over Intel because of the price and I want to wait for the bulldozer. This is my first build so I don't know if the parts are compatible. Can you guys tell me if these look okay? Oh and for the motherboard, it says it supports DDR3 1333+ (O.C.) but i chose a regular DDR3 1333 memory card. Do you think this ram card will fit on the mother board? Thanks in advance!

The 760MB model of the 460 was/is an excellent value, but i'm not sure you want a recertified model.

your case is very nice (especially with the discounts), but you want to add a ton of fans I'd suggest the 4 pack of blue 120mm fans:

replace the rosewill power supply with a Xigmatek PC402 400W or Corsair CX430W. higher quality than the Rosewill Green, and can still run that video card, for $5-10 less.

008: the G620 is a little faster than the X3 450, but I'm not sure I want to recommend a dual core to anyone goven how many new games are now multi-threaded.

The G620 actually performs (a lot) better than the Athlon II X3 in games. Athlon's cores are invidually weaker than the G620's.

I would take that tri core and overclock it (which is one thing you cant do on the pentium) and if you feel a little adventurous try to unlock the dormant core. This is a hit or miss as they usually lock a core do to a defect. However sometimes they just lock one to meet the demand of the chip.

Agreed with zooted, go with the Athlon. Plus the board you're using an AM3+ board so you'll be able to upgrade to BD, it's expected to be really cheap. The FX-4xxx (replacing phenom II X4) is predicted to price at around the current Phenom II X4's pricing so an upgrade is not to far away or expensive if you ever want to.
