Firmware for broadcom 57xx for a dell latitude E5500 internal NIC

Does anyone know of a firmware .bin and uiltity to update the firmware for a broadcom netextreme 57xx internal NIC. The MAC is reporting all FF's, no packets received can go online but has trouble resolving an ipaddress at work.

Apart from updating drivers I suspect there is little you can do, apart from replacing it you can check with them http://www.broadcom.com/products/Ethernet-Controllers/Enterprise-Client/BCM5705M

There is no way for a user to update that firmware.
