I am building a new pc with a 1000-1200 franc budget ( I live in switzerland)

Approximate purchase date: this month

System Usage from most to least important: gaming,surfing the net

Budget Range: 1000-1200 franc

Preffered websites for Parts:toppreise.ch

Sli Or Crossfire: whatever is best

Overclocking: yes

If I upgrade to sli or xfire in the future is that 500 watt psu good enough?

Of course not! You'd want to get a 750w if you want to CF but it's better if you just get a 6970 and 650w.

It's okay, it's just that most people say that but don't follow through. Do you know how much problems multiple GPU set ups have?

If you want to crossfire, no one is stopping you. Get a 750w and you're fine .

Yeah. Should I wait for bulldozer and the 7xxx sieries to come out or stick with the prieviously listed parts?

If you can, wait for the HD 7xxx series. Bulldozer doesn't seem to be a better processor than the i5-2500k, seeing the price is lower than the i5 but who knows.

Ok. I have the patience to wait for 7xxx but I will go for the I5 as you suggested. What would your reccomendation for a psu (750w) and would it be a good idea to put water cooling in aswell?

I forgot the 7xxx will be out by the end of the year i think or Q1 next year lol.

if you plan to crossfire the 6970 then an 850w would be best. If you plan to crossfire the 6950 then 750w is fine.

Depends on where you buy it bro. You should check the parts on the site you posted and total it up. I doubt it would exceed 1200 franc :0

Just check if it has Antec or Corsair. Both are quality brands. just get what's cheaper.
