Gigabyte EX58 UD3R and Windows 8

Does anyone have any advice on the best BIOS settings for a Gigabyte EX58 UD3R for Windows 8?

I can tweak the settings and get the install to boot, and complete, but as soon as the system reboots it will freeze at the "Setting up Devices XX%" screen. Different percentage each time, I think it made it to 41% on one try and I thought I was home free.

The best advice I have for you re: BIOS settings is to run the BIOS at Optimized Defaults.
