Asus M5A8M compatibility with FX 4100

I am now planning to assemble a new pc with asus m5a88m mobo and fx 4100 processor. I wanna know the bios compatibility of both. Is asus selling those mobos with the latest bios in then if i purchase a fresh new one now?? Or will i have to update the bios after purchasing it to fit with fx 4100 bulldozer?? I know it is risky to update bios and i actually dont wanna try it.. pls help me.. if asus are selling with the latest bios, i'm ok..

Well it is impossible to tell what retailers have in stock but Asus ships with the most current BIOS. Here you see what BIOS version is the first to support the FX4100 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3Plus/M5A88M/#CPUS It is over a year old.

If it is a fast moving reseller then most likely it will have supporting BIOS.
