Is this motherboard still OK to use?

I ripped out the pci-e slot from an ASUS Z68-V pro so I bought a new one and built my PC with it, but the damaged one is still lying around. I figured I would throw it into my HTPC as I just bought a new case, but was curious whether or not it was safe to actually continue to use. Kinda hard to see in the pic, but it's between the two light blue pci slots.

Yes as long as none of the pins are touching each other it will stick work
You could try remounting the PCIe plastic slot on it if your good with micro sized work
or you could just cut the pins off the board and use it as is

Some of the pins are touching each other and I don't think I'd be able to reconnect all the pins. There are so many pins that I don't think I'm skilled enough to pull it off. I probably wont even use a discrete GPU as HD 4000 plays 1080p fine (I think).

I tried pulling the pins off but they don't seem to come out that way. Is cutting the pins necessary for it to function correctly?

Thanks for the help too.
