Most warranty agreements state "No physical damage", that would qualify as physical damage and be outside the scope of a warranty.

Isopropyl alcohol is good for cleaning cards.

LOL, thought he meant to type "rate speed" but missed some letters.

I'm pretty sure they'd be able to spot "water damage" on their card.

Many years ago I have similar problem with an Epson LQ1170 Dot Matrix printer, i.e. a Rat somehow found its way inside the printer and peed on its board. Anyway, the long and the short of it Epson refused warranty on similar grounds stated above, however, our supplier was generous enough to foot half of the total bill for replacement board in the end.

So, I would say you are probably better off buying a new graphic card instead of wasting your time going after warranty claim which can't be honored.

How did a rat get in your PC case?

I say try it. Who knows, maybe they will replace it. Clean it really well and just say the card just fried inside the PC. Ou, i am not to blame for what i posted, nor take responsibility.

I just dunno... I always keep my case closed... The closest thing I could identify it to was Rat pee only...
