Budget pc parts help

Hello everyone!
I am currently thinking about building a pc, again, but this time I went with a more reasonable budget. Around 500 bucks. I need it to have lots of stotage for itunes stuff, good sound (for listening to it on a headset), and some gaming capabilities.
The game I will mostly play is skyrim, maybe a bit
Battlefield3. The specs for skyrim are:

* RAM: 3 GB
* HDD: 15 GB

I would like to max it, but i understand that on a budget I can't have everythimg cranked up. Thanks in advance for helping me build a great pc!
P.s.: I'm pretty good with pc's in general, so overclocking, SLI( i prefer nvidia ) and raids are no problems!

Are you planning to buy on newegg? If it's on newegg, it's easier as there are a lot of sales there.

Tom's build can play skyrim at decent settings. Just change the motherboard to a AM3+ mobo.
