Upgrading from geforce 8400gs to gtx 550

My current pc build:
Pentium(R)Dual core E5300@2.6GHZ OC 3.0ghz
300W powersupply
4gb OCZ DDR2 ram
geforce 8400gs
motherboard:msi G31TM-P35

Will my current cpu bottleneck gtx 550?

i suggest go for GTX 460 or GTS 450

GTX 550 is $20 more expensive than gtx 450 in my country.Btw my resolution is 1280x1024,is gtx 550 overkill?

I would agree with xHackell in that you would need a new PSU to get a card like that. I would recommend the Radeon 6770 over the GTX550Ti, and I would pick the GTX460 over the Radeon 6770.

Either way, none of these cards will be able to run on a 300W PSU of any type.
