First I was wondering if there is a way to find out what format your hard drive is currently in.
Depending on the answer to that:
I want to play The Witcher 2 and I heard it needs to run in NTFS. I'm getting an error when patching that says not enough space. I have 35GB left after the initial install, so I figured I'm running FAT32 or something.
I've only ever formatted a drive with the intention of running one OS.
Long story short, I want to partition the rest of my drive with NTFS so I can play it, but I'm not sure what I need to do and most step by step sites don't really say.
First can I partition and format the rest of my HDD to run NTFS while not doing anything with the space that has all my stuff on it?
Second, am I going to have to put a second OS on this part of the drive?
Third, can it be the same OS on both partitions?
