NEW GPU for Skyrimm release.

Hello im looking to update my GPU for the upcoming Elder scrolls : skyrimm game.

Currently display is 1366 x 768

OS: vista 32 bit SP1
CPU@: Intel core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40ghz
RAM 4.00 GB DDR2 @399MHz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H
Current GPU - Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB

PSU 680W G7 Power Extreme ATX PSU

Id be looking to buy the card soonish just wondered what cards would be suitable for my current PC

IIRC Skyrim is scheduled for 11.11 release, with any luck there might be some next generation cards available by then. You wont be needing the top-of-the-line model, but since the next gen comes with a die shrink, you'll end up with much lower power consumption at adequate performance level...

btw have they released any info about the recommended specs or anything like that yet?

I seem to be within the minimum but would like something to at least allow me to play medium settings.

They list DirectX 9 compatible sound card, that's just saying "We programmed this game using DX9 libraries" and nothing more.

system requirements at this stage, well, that may be accurate, or it may not. I wouldn't rely on it, but would suggest waiting, though really, anything you should buy would probably be good enough.
