Dell Dimension 5000 - Upgrade

I am currently using a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Graphics Card on a Dell Dimension 5000, XP Professional SP2, 3.00GB RAM. Processor 2 x Pentium 4 CPU 3.20GHz. PSU = 305 W.

More about dell dimension 5000 upgrade
  1. I would get the following Radeon HD 5670 which is about 30% more powerful than the HD 4670 which is more powerful than the HD 4650.

  2. If you are going to get an HD4650 then get one with DDR3 ram if at all possible like this one;

  5. Dell uses good PSUs rated for continuous usage. It should easily handle any of the cards listed.
