Is this PSU worth biyging?

I have the possibility to buy an Cougar 1000CM 1000w for around 67GBP and I am wondering if it is a good deal? It is from the end of 2009 i think but can it run GTX 580 in SLI? Here is an article about it http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/power_supply/cougar_1000cm_1000w_psu_revisited/1

I assume you are getting it used? Cougar has been making some decent units and at that price i would say its a pretty good deal even used.

Yes it is used but he said that he has not used it for the past 1.5 years i don't know if that is good or bad. Any idea if i can run GTX 580 SLI with it?

For a system using two GeForce GTX 580 graphics cards in 2-way SLI mode NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 900 Watt or greater power supply that has a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 62 Amps or greater and that has at least two 6-pin and two 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

The COUGAR CM POWER 1000W (1000CM), with its combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 80 Amps and three 6-pin and three 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, will be more than enough assuming that the power supply unit is in working condition.
