I'm getting ready to purchase the parts for a new gaming PC. I have everything picked but I'm not sure about the power supply.
The main components are:
i5-2500k
HD 6870
8 GB DDR3
Asrock z68 extreme3 gen3 mobo

for the PSU I was going to go with

until someone suggested

I prefer the modular design which not even the antec ea 750 watt offers so I'm leaning toward the Seasonic but
I want to have enough power for another 6870 down the road and possible overclocking. I know amps and rails
are more important to how much power a PSU can provide but I don't know what to look for their so I came here
to ask.

Will won of these be enough for what I need or should I look for a 700 watt?

Solution
For a system using two Radeon HD 6870 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode AMD specifies a minimum of an 600 Watt or greater power supply. The power supply should also have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 46 Amps or greater and have at least four 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

So far none of the power supplies mentioned have at least four PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

The following semi-modular power supplies will work:

CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 (CMPSU-650HX) for $109.99 ($89.99 after mail-in rebate card)
• OEM: Seasonic
• +12 Volt continuous current rating of 52 Amps
• four (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors...

Would the 650 antec EA or the Corsair mentioned in the posts above not work?
