More about bulldozer intel review 1000 build please
  1. There's no way bulldozer will have anywhere near as good performance per clock cycle as a 2500k. Games that can utilize more than 4 cores are still very rare at best- I don't see how a bulldozer is going to compete really.

2500k is gold and will last a long time with a solid overclock.

I can vouch that the motherboard is a good choice I have an extreme4 gen3 and it has served me very well so far.
  2. Bulldozer? Don't know. I haven't seen any benchmarks on production systems. An i5-K is at least a known quantity.
  3. Should I go with an extreme 4 gen 3? since is basically $10 more.
  4. Can anyone please try to find combo deals with the same parts or your preferred parts. The cheaper the better without missing out on the performance.
  5. $500 dollar combo
    CPU + Mobo + PSU + HDD+ RAM + CASE

    Get a 560ti

    You're done/.
