How do I remove a vertical line from my laptop screen?

You'll need to give us more info but the most likely cause of such a problem is your screen is just old and going bad or there was some kind of damage to the case behind the screen. If you've still got a warranty then call it in. If you don't then most likely you've got a vertical line for the rest of the life of the laptop.
