GTX560 Superclocked Vs HD6870

Hello Everyone!

As the title says I would like to know wich of those 2 GPUs will be the best choice, I will be running games (such as Battlefield 3 when it gets realesed, Crysis 2, and the new-coming games) at 1680 x 1050 Resolution, I was decided to go for the GTX560 Superclocked but due to the Mobo I'm going to buy, wich does not supports SLI, I thought I should pick an ATI (Mobo supports Crossfire).

These are the Cards:

About the Mobo I only choose it because of the bundle (CPU+Mobo), but it is still a good Mobo right?

I'm not planning to run 2x GPUs at the moment, but in the future I might Upgrate to 2x, so that's why I haven't decided yet about wich GPU to buy... anyhow if the HD6870 is better/same in performance I would just buy that one... if not I have 2 options: 1- Pick another Mobo (same Proccesor tho but not in bundle =/ )... 2- Buy the GTX560 and Never be able to Run SLI

Also, if it is possible for you to tell me if this PSU will be able to Run SLI/CF (With those GPUs).

I will buy everything from compUSA, not from Internet.

Thanks in advance!!

also forgive my English if it is that bad =/ (I'm from Mexico, so Spanish is my first Language)

The GTX 560 and HD6870 are very similar in performance.
Is there a reason you have picked such an expensive model for the HD6870?
For the PSU I would stick with a good brand like Corsair, Antec or Seasonic.

What do you mean?, they are both same price, GTX560 is $200 bucks (I won't get the rebate since I live in Mexico), and the HD6870 is $210 bucks, I was looking and I found this one for $200 also:

Since they are both similar, I think I will have to pick the Radean for future Crossfire, thx for your answer =)

Would you mind picking the best PSU for that system?, I'm not really good with PSUs, it would be awesome if you could do that for me.

I can only buy from this place:

Or even Bestbuy.com but I would preffer from compUSA

I can spend $80 on a PSU (Rebates will be useless for me)

    Thanks for your answer!!
  3. Here is an HD6870 with better cooling for $190

    The PSU selection/prices aren't that great on there to be honest. If you want a reliable unit that can handle Crossfire spend a lil more for this;

  4. Thank you for your advises, now I know what to buy, I will get the compUSA's PSU and also the XFX GPU with better cooling.
