Back to Baldur's Gate!

Hi all!

I'm most of the way through my first playing of BG1, and I'm using TuTu -
and as I'm a busy, busy guy, I'm using a walkthrough simply to be able to
enjoy this fine game and story (and not miss anything!) as well as finish it
in a reasonable amount of time.

I've been using the Dudleyville site to guide my efforts, but it gets
strangely vague once Baldur's gate itself is reached. Or maybe my
perception of the game does, since this region now comprises several maps,
rather than several spots on one map.

Is there an obvious 'good' path or 'bad' path or recommended things to do
and not do?

I'm going to guess that I'm facing this dilemma entirely due to the fact
that I've had my hand held through the whole game thus far.

"You mean I'm supposed to Role-Play this Role-Playing game???"

Thanks for any tips!

RCV: I would agree...

RCV: Well I'm not going to be specific, but basically, do everything.
Talk to everyone, go in every building - this is how you get the minor
sub-quests so don't scrimp on walking around and investigating everything...

And if you get informed that you are poisoned - deal with it FIRST of
all, and quickly...

There are a ton of things to do in the city - like I said, enter ever
building, open every chest and look at every tabletop. Make sure you go to
the magic shop [hard to miss] and do go upstairs... just be prepared.

No doubt there are some FAQs/walkthroughs that identify every little
thing to do, but now that you are a real "hero", perhaps its time to lose
the hand-holding? :)

If not, well then just google for Baldur's Gate walthrough......
