What to look for when buying a motherboard?

Can anyone pls tell me what to normally look for when buying a motherboard

  1. Depends on what you actually need.

    Since almost everything is integrated into the CPU and chipset these days, unless you need overclocking, CFX/SLI, unusual storage options, etc. almost any board is nearly as good as any other as long as you stick to good brands.

    I do not need overclocking, I do not need CFX/SLI, I have no special IO needs (my previous PC had no expansion cards other than the GPU) so in my case, a micro-ATX board using the H77 is about as far as it is worth going for me so ended up picking Asus' P8H77-M/CSM since I have personally only had good experiences with Asus' mainstream boards.
