6870 Radeon Black Edition HOT

I recently installed my 6870 BE, and need to know what the average temperature should be...

*Non-Overclocked*
Stock Settings
940 MHz Clock Speed
1150 MHz Memory Clock
Fan Speed 30%
Idle Temp: 62-65 C (slowly climbs)
Load Temp: Unknown

Does manually changing Fan Speed void my warranty?

Any help would be appreciated, just dont want a meltdown

The temps do seem a little high-ish but i guess it would depend on the ambient temp within the case.

Also, upping the fan speed does not void warranty.

Case temp is about 38-40 C idle
Room temp is 22-24 C

That seems very high how hot does it run ,while gaming? Also where do you keep your computer. I used to put it under the desk now right beside my desk near the window and it runs 10c/20c cooler.
