I just finished putting together this build, and I am looking on ways to improve on it, specifically by lowering the price.

Approximate Purchase Date: Next few days

Budget Range: $1700 - $1850

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies, schoolwork.

Parts Not Required: I am building from scratch

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: DirectCanada.com or BestDirect. Iam open to using Newegg.ca or other sites if necessary.

Country of Origin: Canada

Parts Preferences: Preferably Intel and NVIDIA, but I am not a fanboy, so I am open to suggestions.

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: In a year or two I would like to add a second card.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1920x1200

Additional Comments: I want to run anything and everything on max, including Metro 2033.

get a crucial m4 ssd if it's available where you live. they are tons more reliable than ocz. I would also look into into the coolermaster HAF line of cases too. Pick one that fits your budget, the haf 932 is most popular. i also personally recommend the ASRock extreme4 gen 3 motherboard. It's an OC'ers friend.
