I'm replacing the fan on my video card. the heatsink is quite small so I was wondering is it better to have the fan blowing onto the heatsink or the other way?

Are you asking if you should leave the heatsink out of the equasion? If you are- DON'T. Buy a bigger heatsink and put the fan on it. Heatsinks are essential.

have the air blowing towords the heat sink. there was a forum about this a few weeks ago and that was what was determined to be the best.
