The title pretty much explains itself. I have 80 $ to spare for the mobo, so could you recommend some good mobo for my card?

Ony Requirement: DDR3 RAM memory. I hate having to pay the double for far worse DDR2

My CPU is: E7400 @ 3.09 Ghz

What mobo do you have now? All PCIe supported mobo is same for 6770. But if you need to buy, then get the g41 chip mobo for $45

But with a e7400, there will be a bottleneck. Your 6770 will not perform well. Try to buy a new cpu with mobo. If you can spend $100 more you can have this cpu+mobo

It will be $155. But gigabyte mobo will be good if you can spend $15 more. It feature is great with 16gb memory supports and 8 channel audio.

Mobo is on rebate. It will be $75. So only $170(cpu+mobo). Can save $15.

Thanks dude, I'll see if I can spare that much :D
Right now I have a 945gcm-s Asrock mobo.

But aren't those to big? My mobo is Micro ATX Size but my case is quite big, so I'm not quite sure.

EDIT: I miss read. Those mobos are actually micro ATX so they will fit perfectly.

EDIT 2 LOL: Are you sure that processor is totally compatible with the gigabyte motherboard? Cause one time a processor exploded right in my hands because of incompatibilty

Get the asrock mobo. And don't worry your e7400 is good enough and it will NOT bottleneck a card like the 6770.

Your mobo is fine for 6770. But you need a decent psu for 6770. A good 400w. 6770 consume 108w. If your case has the space to room the 6770, then there is no problem.

If the motherboard supports cpu, then there will be no problem with gigabyte boards. They are always good. And system will not run with a incompatible cpu.

Bottleneck is not all about cpu, it about games. If games require more cpu power, then e7400 is poor for modern games, like witcher 2/skyrim etc. Bottleneck totally depend on games, how much cpu power they need. And most of the games are cpu intensive and will bottleneck on e7400.
