I recently bought and built the following system:

i5 3570k
Corsair H80
GA-Z77X-UD5H (F14)
GV-N670OC-2GD (310.33)
Corsair Vengeance 1600 C9 16G (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)
Corsair Force GT 120G x 2 & Force GS 240G
Antec High Current Pro 1200W
Antec 900 II

From the first boot it just didnt "feel" right..
Ran up p95 on blend and ran for about 10mins than i received SUMOUT errors..
(Everything is at stock so it certainly raised the eyebrow Oo)
Reboot, run up p95 blend once again... Bang instant SUMOUT errors..

Good thing i had some good ol "XMS3 1600Mhz c9" triple chan modules on hand.
Ran them for a good 2 hours on blend with no errors, which started to give me that warm fuzzy feeling.
Reboot, blend again, no errors.

So i reloaded that sucker "GA-Z77X-UD5H" with the gut-full of that "Corsair Vengeance 1600 C9 16G" and ran
memtest86+ for 20 passes until finally the errors started to flow!

So now i am quite confident that i did get bad ram modules.

So should i get another kit of CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9?

or go for CMX16GX3M4X1600C9? (I know this has been tested for x79 Quad, its actually the only listed memory on the QVL)

or even the XMS3 CMX16GX3M4A1600C9

I am not quite sure which i should go with..?

I would get the vengeance or even some G.skill ripjaws or some mushkin chronos

The reason is that xms3 runs at 1.65 volts instead of 1.5 and so gets hotter.
