PSX Dance Dance Pads compatible with dreamcast?

Are the dance dance pads for sony PS1 / PS2 compatible with the dreamcast if
you use a controller convertor? Even though Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix
is available for dreamcast I don't seem to be able to find any pads for it.
I also have a PS1 and it would be nice to be able to use the same pads on
both consoles.

I think there's an adapter that exists for that. then it must be compatible.

I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway. All totaled it will only be
about $50 for everything (2 dancepads and 2 adapters). Plus the adapters
will let me use a PC keyboard on the DC so I don't have to spend money on
that.

Yeah, sorry about that. I had meant to respond earlier, but just kept missing
it. How I noticed it just today, I have no clue...
