Does this mobo support this cpu?

I've been going back and forth between buying an AM3 or 9xx series AM3+ motherboard, but I decided to resign myself to the fact that money is very tight for me and an AM3 board still has a decent upgrade path for my needs (moderate gaming, web browsing, videos, music). I'm starting with an Athlon II x3 450 and I can see myself upgrading eventually to a Phenom II in a couple of years.

"If money were horses, we'd all be eatin' steak!".

I know this thread is closed, but the Rana 450 IS included in the ASUS mobo support list.

You probably just missed that. Highly unlikely they've just updated it in the last few hours.

1 little unsolicited suggestion though. You might consider getting an AM3+ board for future compatibility with bulldozer chips.

EDIT: Sorry for the late post. Took time while checking emails in between :p

I did find the x3 Rana 95W in the lists, but not matching the model #, even if I delete the letters BOX. I thought that was odd, perhaps even a little worrisome.

The CPU I bought is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103886

EDIT: I think it's because of Newegg SKU system. I'm not concerned anymore.
