Forgot to mention that my system is Win 7 32bit with 4GB ram. I play rFactor, GTR2 and Race 07 @ 1280 x 1024 (only have a 17" monitor at the mo) so am looking for smoother graphics.

looking to buy from England....

Thanks

Now I see why you want a different video card, you play some games. You don't want the 5570, 5750 minimum. (GTS450 for Nvidia.) Other cards worth considering are the 6750, 5770, 6770, GTS550.

Before We Can Advice You Cards, Give Us Information About Your Power Supply?
I Mean The Make And Model Of It!
We Need To Know If Your PSU Can Power Any Of The Cards We Suggest!

Now About The Cards,
Get The Nvidia GTS 460 If You Can Afford It. Its The Best Card And Powerful One In That Price Range.
If Not Then Definitely The ATi 6770/5770 (Same Hardware), other wise The ATi 6750/5750 (Again Same Hardware!)

The PSU Closest To What You Suggested That I Found Is This:-
Novatech 450W:-
http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/components/powersupplies/novatech/nov-psu450.html

That is a very cheap PSU, With Just 12A on The +12V = 240W Power! The 430W Version Would Have Even Lower Values!

Neither The 5770 Or GTS 460 Will Run On Your PSU!
The Best Card According To Your PSU Would Be An ATI 5670/6670!

If I Am Wrong With The PSU I Found, Please Some one clarify and correct me!

I had a look at the label on the side of the psu and it said Win Power as the brand with the settings you listed underneath...

So could you give me a link to the sort of psu that would run a good budget (less than £100) card please

Thanks Glenn
