Building a new computer and would like some advice or recommendations on what parts I should be concerned with. Trying to keep the build around $800-900. All prices are from newegg.com, please let me know if you know of some other place to get these parts cheaper.

Using the computer for gaming.

Case - Cooler Master HAF 922 $89.99

CPU - Core i5 2500k $219.99

MB - MSI z68A-GD65 $179.99
Would like a z68 board for future upgrades.

Memory - G. Skill Ripjaws 8GB $51.99

PSU - Rosewill Green Series 630w $59.99

GPU - Radeon HD 6870, Nvidia gtx 560
Not sure on what GPU I should buy. Nvidia has physx, but I dont know if that really makes a difference for gaming compared to ATI.

HDD - Seagate Barracuda $36.99

Thanks

MB: Get the GD55 for $20 less, no real benefits that you need.

PSU: Invest in a good quality PSU from Corsair or Seasonic. 650 Watt 80+ Silver is what you should aim for, modular is nice too.

GPU: Get the 560ti with a dual fan such as MSI HAWK (Twin Frozr III)

HDD: Is that a 500GB you have selected?

Thanks for the advice. Ill have to look into those parts and adjust what I got going on.

The HDD is a 250gb. I already have some external HDD so im not too worried about space.

You can get a 1TB for $50. No reason to get anything less than that. Don't bother with SATA III or 64mb cache, just a waste of money.
