Building my first computer

Hi, im building my first ever computer and before I start buying anything I want to make sure that all parts are compatable with eachother and would work well together. I am open to suggestions also. Please bear in mind im a college student also so anything that can lower the cost but stay the same or have better performance would be great! please tell me how everything looks thank!

It wont run without a cpu

and if its a gaming rig I think you are spending money unwisely .
A $200 case
a $245 motherboard
and a $140 power supply

so you can buy an over priced and relatively weak graphics card
just does not make sense

Use the format suggested at the top of the forum about how to ask for advice

knew i forgot something :p added it in. i plan on using i7-2600k

also for the os ill get a students version of win 7 through school.
 



A $70 case
a $150 motherboard
a $75 psu
and unless you are video editing or crunching huge multithreaded numbers
a 2500K

will save you so much money [ without hurting performance even a tiny fraction ]
that you can afford a top end graphics card
and that is going to increase game performance massively

Also ditch the water cooler IMO . They add nothing but complexity
