Hello,

I recently purchased AMD HD Radeon 6870 and discovered it requires 2 6 pin PCI-E connectors. I think my PC only shipped with one as the graphics card it came with only required 1.

I'm not sure which part of my power supply is the name but it says LC650 GP2 and ATX12V V2.2 and says 550W at the bottom next to MAX combined wattage and peak load.

Need help with this! Thanks in advance

Power supply is fine, we need to know the name of the motherboard in order to see if it will fit the card. But if you have already received the card you should try and fit it, if it doesnt fit send it back. The card itself will fit into a single PCI 16 Express port but requires the space of two. So there may be room. Try it.

I used it for like a year on a 5850 I think it was, worked fine and no fires. If I were you though I would use it as a temporary measure and invest in a new PSU in couple of months. A nice branded 600W power supply will last you a long long time. Good investment.
