Much like AMD bought ATI.

How do they buy each other?

What happens if Intel buys both AMD and Nvidia.

Can it then rule the entire computer industry?

Intel could buy nvidia yes, however due to antitrust laws no company should be able to get complete market dominance and monopoly so they wouldn't be able to buy AMD.
They buy companies by getting a majority of the shares of the company.

intel cant and wont buy amd. they may be able to buy its subsidiary companies like ati, but as said anti competition laws would prohibit them from buying nvida as well. some how i think if intel wanted to buy nvidia they would end up having to to do a hostile take over. where intel end up buying nvidia shares at hugely inflated prices.
