I'm working on putting a new system together. I purchased a AMD Phenom II X6 1045T 2.7Ghz, 3.2 GHz Turbo Socket AM3 and need a motherboard recommendation.
Faster is better so I can get fast memory. I will be putting a minimum of 16GB on it.
I don't plan to overclock.
I will have 1 video card to start pushing 3 Monitors (possibly 4 later and possibly adding a second video card) so it doesn't need to have onboard video as that would be a waste.
Onboard sound would be good doesn't have to be anything fancy.
The usual stuff USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, SATA, ESATA, at least 1 floppy drive just in case. Will also have a Blu-Ray/DVD/CDR Reader/Writer.
external esata would be a plus as well as firewire.
I will have a SSD for the OS and 1 Data drive to start but the ability for the mobo to maybe in the future have mirrored SSD's for the OS and Raid for the data drives later would be a nice to have as well (4 drives)
