reboot, hit F8 key while it boots and select "previous working configuration". Let it boot and see if it solves it. Then redo the update you did last time (it must have been corrupted when you did it the first time).
Otherwise (if nothing changed), reboot, hit F8 key and select "Fail-safe mode". Then remove display driver, either by "uninstall application" or by "device manager", both via control panel. When done, reboot and let it go into your normal Windows. Refuse to install new hardware when Windows asks for it (very important!! That driver may be corrupted), and install the latest display driver you got from LG. Reboot and voilà!
