Memok led is red

I built my computer a little over a year ago and the other day my heat sink died and my cpu led came on, so I bought a new heatsink and installed it. After trying to boot the MemOk led comes on. I've tried clearing my CMOS but to no avail. If anyone could give me some advice, it would be much appreciated.

MOBO- ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3
CPU- AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz
PSU- RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W
GPU- HIS H577FK1GD Radeon HD 5770
RAM- 2 x G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 (1600)
2 x G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 (1333)

you had a ram stick go bad. run mem test to verify, also running two different types of RAM at different clock speeds is not helping try just using one set and see if that helps.

Had the same problem with that kind of ram but in a 16gb configuration with my new build i just built yesterday, returning it and looking for different ram :/

How do I run a mem test? Sorry I'm still relatively new and learning. I've tried all the combinations of my RAM and none of them worked.
