Ram Upgrade for PC......?

Hi friends.......
I want to upgrade my PC....Iwant to ask that is it possible that only ram upgrade can increase the responsiveness of my Pc........

I am using this MOBO......

Max RAM for this board is 4gb.........

I use softwares like photoshop etc....for graphics editing........
I want to improve the system responsiveness.......can only ram upgrade would do that.........

What OS are you using? 32 or 64 bit? If you are using a 64 bit OS then going to 8GB could increase responsiveness.
