Cpu Cooler Issue

Hey folks,

Having a few problems finding a cpu cooler that fits in the space I have right now,so any help would be appreciated.
the case isn't the issue here but rather the mobo and ram,mother board is the GA-890FXA-UD5 and the ram 2 x 4gb corsair vengeance, so as ya can imagine space is a little on the tight side :S starting to think I may have to either go water cooling or replace my current ram

Difference between a high end air cooler and water is about £20-£30 while ram varies between models. I would go water cooling, but make sure your case has good air flow to make up for the lack of air coming of cpu heatsink around vrm's etc.

Yea was looking into a few water coolers as a last resort but wanted to try n stay with a reasonably high end air cooler but there just doesn't seem to be one to fit, or at least not that i can find

i had same problem i got a antec 920 liquid cooler. sorted

so simple to install aswell.the 620 would be fine aswell.

Ok folks ty for the help. looks like its going to have to be water cooling then and I'll add a few extra fans to compensate the air flow.

Personally i prefer the Corsair water coolers, i have a H80 and love it.

What CPU are you running by the way, and what case are you using ?

Case is a CM 690 II and cpu is the AMD phenom II hex core 1100 black edition, yea seen a few water coolers i could go with was just hoping i could find an air cooler tbh

I have one of the following and on my asus 990FX board it clears all 4 of my Corsair Vengeance RAm modules so will work for you to, plus its an amazing cool and quiet cooler, i got my 1100t OCd to 4.0ghz on it.
