How to connect power button to motherboard

I just recently installed a new motherboard into an old acer case and i cannot figure out how to connect the power button so that I can power on the machine to test it out. This is my first time building a pc also.

It might be that the Acer case cables are proprietary and won't work on another MB. Your MB link isn't working.

this might help, its an all in one panel that has a power and reset switch, you also get switches and cut a few holes in your case or you can mod your existing wires with these:
