Phenom II x4 840 Problems

Hello i have a problem with my processor. I recently broke a pin off of my processor and my computer still works. My temperatures idle are 20*C and load around 30-40*C, i find that hard to believe with a stock cooler. I have a feeling that my processor is malfunctioning.

With a pin broken off I am amazed it even runs.... if its not malfunctioning now , it soon will be.... new CPU time I think...
