Hi,

My system config:
PROC: Core i7 3770K
MOBO: P8Z77-V DELUXE
RAM: Corsair Vengeance (CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9)(4 x 4 GB)
SSD: Corsair Neutron GTX Series 120 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (CSSD-N120GBGTX-BK)
OS : Win 7 Ultimate
Internet Security: BitDefender (Auto Pilot Mode)

I've kept my OC profile to XMP and rest all things to auto.
Following is the screen shot of blue screen error and CPU-Z for my system.

I am facing blue screen error very frequently.
Even when I've locked my system and no programs are running (Except default programs), this error occurs.
It occurs very randomly.

And almost every 15 minutes I get error saying that "windows explorer is not responding", then I restart win explorer and things work fine. But when explorer restarts, all the programs like AI Suite || and other asus programs are gets closed from notification area.

I am not getting the exact reason behind this and cant even come to a conclusion that is this a Hardware or a Software issue.

Please somebody help me out here.

did you make sure when you built your pc that you updated the bios. asus has a lot of bios updates on the z77 chipset mb for cpu code/ram code/usb devices and nvidia video cards and windows 8.
the newest bios for your mb is P8Z77-V DELUXE BIOS 1617.
i would go into the bios and see if it at 1617. if it not then download the newest bios and use the free asus renaming tool and rename it per asus guild. power off your pc plug a usb stick with the renamed bios in the root of the usb stick and use the usb flashback tool. if not drop the bios file onto your hard drive and use the mb bios updating tool to update the bios. dont update it in windows or you brick the mb. if after you do the update if your system still hanging. make sure the...

Hi Smorizio,

Thank you so much for your reply.
It really helped me to identify the problem. I tried several things which you have mentioned but the windows explorer crash problem is still there.
So now I am completely re-installing OS and whatever results I get, i'll post it here.
:)

Hi Smorizio,
I ran the memtest for 1 hour and got following error.
I am not getting that which module(s) is faulty.
I've got 4 x 4 Gb Corsair Vengence.
Could you please tell me that which module is faulty starting the number 1 module nearer to processor?

if the tests names the slots 10/20/30/40. then it was testing slot 2. the best way to test for bad ram is start with one stick only and run it. if it passes.add one stick run it and swap just that one stick till memtest fails. if memtest does not fail with 2 sticks then add three sticks...then swap the third stick.
