New Graphic Card Purchase

I have Following system Components
MotherBoard: ASUS P5N73-AM
RAM : 2x2GB
HDD: 500GB
CPU: Core2 Duo E7500
Display: 19inch Veiw Sonic
Powersupply: 450W but ready to upgrade

I need to buy a Graphics Card which will Run Almost major games on Medium Settings
Though Graphics is important to me, there is no need for a Ultrahigh Setting for the same. playable FPS and optimum Graphics is acceptable
My budget is Max 250$-280$

I was thinking of buying the GTX465 as i wanted a card with 1GB memory,but i dont know whether it will support....
so please help!

With your current processor I wouldn't reccomend getting anything more powerful than a 6850 or GTX460 as it will cause a bottleneck.

What is the make/model of your 450watt PSU? How many amps are on the +12v rail(s)

What is your monitors resolution?

The E7500 would be a good processor to O.C. if you wanted to increase your performance and allow for a more powerful card if you wanted to go that route.

The 465 isn't a great deal, and it runs hot. A 460 1gb would be better.
