Hi there! I'm building my second computer after intel Pentium D 3.2 < which I found out was pre historic at this point oct 2011.

I have few questions
My goal isn't so much in playing games but to edit HD videos and use it for graphic work
I want to build a dual OS system supporting Windows 7 and MAC os

these are the apps i'll be using:

Photoshop
Painter pro
Adobe premire
Adobe after effect
Protools
Illustrator
Sony vegas

I ordered I7 960
I got the MSI big bang x58 board
going with Corsair H60

Which memory should I get and how much memory would you guys recommend??
I'm planing to OC this beast so I can get more juice for the buck.
Which GFX card would you recommend?
Any additional tips or suggestions, i would highly appreciate!!! :)

I still have ATI radeon 4800 saphire < can i use it for now until the parts come in?

Cant return them, got em of ebay. besides its really on the budget system.
so i figure it would last me a few more years until i can go ahead and upgrade...
but isnt the lga 1366 is the latest technology?

what would you recommend in any case? so i would know what to look out for?

Well, LGA 1366 is not the latest technology. And those aren't budget parts. Sandy Bridge is the current gen for Intel. We can try and work something out though.

For a case, get what looks good to you, and has good reviews :p Antec, Coolermaster, and Lian Li all make excellent cases. basically, just go look around! There's thousands of cases to choose from.

But the memory which one do i need to get any brand names for stability?
and the graphic cards for my need so i wont have to pay $500 something around 250-500... and i think i'm pretty set...
any more suggestions?
