Who chooses the "HOT" questions?

Forum Forum Feedback : Structure Who chooses the "HOT" questions?

Word :    Username :

How can they be hot if some of them have an obvious "0", or are basically redundant or overly simple questions asked? There are some really great and challenging or even basic but heavily discussed topics and q's out there, how chooses these questions on the front page of TOMs??

Are you talking about the QOTD articles? Also, I don't get what you mean by an obvious "0."

EDIT: Nvm, I see what you mean. Those are automatically pulled from the database. I don't know what criteria is used to determine which ones are posted though.

Hey,

They are determined by how many responses within a shorter period of time a question has.
