AsRock A55 Pro3 with Athlon II X4 631

If I use the motherboard AsRock A55 Pro3 with Athlon II X4 631 do I have to add a VGA card?

Does the Vga/HDMI output works only if you put A4/6/8 CPUs that have integrated GPU?

In short, you have to add a graphics card. These Athlons are APUs with their IGP disabled due to stability or manufacturing issues.
